Hello there, fellow drummers, there has been cases around the world reagrding "cowboy" drum teachers, you might not know what "cowboy" means now, but i assure you that you'll understand what it means in in awhile time. This part is just mainly an introduction, to what some drum teachers are doing to their students around the world. Crushing their spirits, wasting their money or even leaving their students in the lurch, all this are fine examples of what some drum teachers out there are doing, by no means am i pointing any fingers or stating any names. For sure, like many people say "A leaf has 2 sides", true enough, there are also drum teachers out there who do not belong to the "cowboy" breed. Please note, I'm not a professional drummer/teacher of any sort, neither am i a victim once. But i just happened to see this article somewhere and realise that people in Drummerworld and many other drum forums are also trying to raise our awareness. So, i urge that you guys would put aside just a small amount of time to read this article, and browse through this web i'm about to post. Hope it helps.
