hmm does anyone know whether gretsch hollow bodies can do good rock?

I think the f holes are sexy! ha..haha...

Edge uses the Gibson ES, too. And he uses the feedback to good effect in the "Go Home" concert at Slane Castle.

edit : Oh, no. I remembered wrongly. The Edge didn't use the ES in that concert. ha.haha... My bad! Strats, Les Pauls, SG, Sonex... no ES. Hmm... where did I saw that feedback thingy?

was the piano recorded over the song? sounds really too clear and loud..

Hi guys

this was what i was using for the 1st song (in order):

Gretsch White Falcon w/TV Jones Powertrons, mostly bridge pickup
Fulltone OCD v3 (HP mode, gain 12 o'clock, tone 3 o'clock)
Hughes & Kettner tubeman amp simulator (set to a basic clean sound)
Xotic RC Booster (clean boost for the solo)
Boss DD20 (set to standard delay, dotted 8th notes at 300ms)
direct to PA system via DI box

everything was just recorded live straight to the board.. no overdubs.
