High gain pedal recommendation(80s rock)

I ran the G-2 through a 6' speaker initially and it sounded muddy. Upon testing with larger speakers, the problem is solved. Perhaps, it is an issue with the small speakers that is unable to handle the pedal as well as it should it be.

For TS, you can contact Dennis at http://www.wix.com/pedalholics/Pedal-holics. The price is listed there. Got to give this man a thumbs up. :)

Hey bro, you know what? You're right there! I play with my Vox amp with at home I think they're 8", and it sounds very muddy, adding the to the very mid-heavy nature of my amp. But when I go jamming, it sounds perfect with the studio amps that have bigger speakers.

Recommend the G2, though I'd like to test the BSIAB II.

Thanks for all the comments!

I settled for a Pinnacle II, which i bought from Naviros.

I have to say that this pedal has the sound which i'm describing. The last pedal that could give me this kinda sound was the Sansamp GT2(Old version), which i sold a long time back. The sansamp could do really tight distortion, screaming lead tones. But the downside is that it sounded abit fake like a digital pedal(albeit an analog pedal too)

This pinnacle can do the van halen sound almost spot on! However it needs certain amp volume to achieve that, not very loud per se, but louder than my usual practice volume.(fender pro junior volume set at 8.30 oclock)

Anyone owns the BOR? I find the bass abit heavy and weird. Can't really describe tho. Any experience? Might want to replace it with another similar pedal too.
