hi everyone i was wondering how much a tama entry level kit would cost from sweelee maybe the imperial star or something? thanks so much

If I remember correctly it's around 1k to 1.2k or so. Just go down sweelee and check.

hi ...y dun u juz buy a cheap drumset [e.g carlos] n juz change da skin, da set only cost 500 to 600dlr, cn check it out at bras basah sport ranking. then u cn add more cymbal n effect cymbal, drum rack..dats wat i hv in my room nw..hehe...thnx ya!

hi leevera .. the reason for me wanting to go for a tama is firstly well brand reliability as well as credibility. Secondly i have this affinity with tama drums and i thought id my as well just get one then... and i prefer the sound of the shells . Thanks for the advice though.. =)

Actually I also think that if you're serious about drumming, just get a good base kit and work your way from there. Stuff like cymbals, better pedals, hardware, etc you can slowly upgrade and add on but personally i think it's much "harder" to upgrade your entire base kit. I started off with a Tama Rockstar instead of a Swingstar which i think would have cost 1/2 as much. Been drumming for almost a decade and I've never felt the need to upgrade from my Rockstar. I did add an extra 10" tom (rockstar also of course) a few years in but I didn't have to change anything major.

Just sharing my experience.

thanks thats my intention .. lol i would thinkt eh imerpailstar isnt bad and my budget doesnt permit me to go any higher in terms of price so .. yeh.. sad right..at least i can get one if i see a cheap one =x
