Hi, a question about newly changed bass string.

My A string rattles and hits the fretboard when I play the first two frets of A string. Is it because my string's too long/loose?
The other strings and the third fret of my A string don't rattle.

If I am not wrong, the strings has each an adjustment knob thing where you can raise or lower the strings height. Maybe that was messed up during string changing.

you could be using a different gauge for that particular string, my guess is it's slightly thicker so it'll buzz in certain areas. What you can do is raise the string height at the bridge. Or it could be that your trussrod has a back bow so it buzzes at the first and last couple of frets, if that's the case, loosen the truss rod slightly.
