Thanks man! Yes, I'm based here in Singapore. I'm looking for fellow musicians who has the same passion for music as I do. If you are passionate, you will work hard to make beautiful music. I don't want to be blunt, but you get the idea. A band won't work if the members are not on the same boat.

Bands doing both covers and originals are fine by me. We do both in my previous band.

Dude, you may just be who I'm looking for.

I miss performing too, and I'm very, VERY passionate about music. I'm currently forming a new band, and also in the hope of having this new band enter Asian Beat this year as well.

Some supporting info: I play bass, and I've got 2 guitarists with me, whom 1 of them is able to cover DJ/synth-related stuff as well. Currently looking for a drummer and vocalist. We play nu-metal, anywhere from RATM to Deftones, Slipknot to Mudvayne, 311 to P.O.D.

I grew up with Soundgarden, Nirvana, Foo Fighters and No Doubt, so I'm pretty sure our influences and musical preferences are somewhat on-par and similar.

I've written quite a number of originals for this new band, some very straight forward 4/4 nu-metal measures, some off-beat groove metal. Because of the way I write the music and how I play the bass, I need someone who's not afraid to play off-beat tempos and even mix them together with 4/4 in a single measure.

Hey.. I have another offer.. Would you be interested in trying out gothic and symphonic metal... It's not exactly heavy to the point of death or thrash, but it has great melodies... Something along the lines of Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation...

We currently have male vocals, guitar, bass and tentatively a keyboardist... We still need that final piece, the drummer...
