hey any good guitars to recommend?

hey folks, i'm thinking of getting a new acoustic guitar. probably a semi-acoustic guitar, some called it the electric-acoustic guitar. however, i heard that the bass notes wont sound as nice as that of an acoustic guitar. anybody wanna give advice on this?

and i'm wondering what brand to get... well... a not-bad brand and affordable one. i can hardly afford a martin or gibson i guess? haha probably below $350.... anyone for J&D brothers? or ovation! or yamaha....? comments!

There's this 350 bucks Zion guitar.
Sounds like a 600 guitar!

u could go check them out ... can get a descent 1 for ard 350

i agree with siva, the cort guitars are pretty good, but those on display, some have really high action, make sure to lower then when u get it though.

another reccomendation is harvest guitars from guitar workshop

My acoustic is dying may need to get one... budget is about 200 bucks... any recommendation?

I was thinking of a yamaha F310... but is there any cort or ovation or takamine in this price range?

hey~ guess wat... i was at hougang mall today... then there's a temporary corner set up and they are selling this J.D marvell guitar from australia... i inquired abt the brand and the lady says that its a newly established brand has been in the market for just 1 yr i think... the price was ok... ranging from 100+ to 800+++ and i checked out the material used... relatively gd as they used spruce plywood for the soundboard.. i tried out the guitar... ehm i dun think i wanna give comments cos the place was rather noisy i can hardly rate the sound.... may wanna check it out at www.guitarocean.com

i have a different recommendation.

if you are interested, do give the hollow bodied Ibanez Artcore a try. these are fantastic guitars for the money, they have the best of both worlds; acoustic/ electric. these models are available:
