This year's HeritageFest will be running from 15 - 26 July. I attended the media briefing yesterday and was quite impressed with the kind of money they are pouring into the festival.
The reason why I attended the briefing was because MUSIC is one of the big things in their programme.
SOUND STORIES is a series of performances, namely - Raw, Real & Rockin (English), Musical Memories (Xinyao Concert), Innisai Neram (Indian Concert)
and Melodirama Menggamit Memori (Malay Concert).

It is all good that music is used to reach out to public, this will help expose more local music talents.
One interesting point that I found out is that the theme for this year's HeritageFest is "Who's Your Neighbour?"
