Help! To convert wma to mp3.

Hello,

I would appreciate any help on how to convert wma files to mp3 files. Is there a freeware available for downloading?

And you can't convert encrypted wma files yes?

i think you can download a software called SWITCH at download.com ...

u can even decrease the quality by abit so that you can put more songs in your mp3/computer/whutever it is..

Yo phil,

Let me guess, you are trying to rip songs from CD to Windows media player? And it turned out to be Wma?

Well heres a tip,

Go maximize ur windows media screen, Then go to Tools>Options>Rip Music.

Change the ripping format to mp3 instead of wma. This should help

Actually, my friend sent me a couple of tracks and they are in .wma.
So, I tried putting it into the ipod, but couldn't do so as they were in .wma.
And I couldn't convert it because it's encrypted. According to the several converters I've downloaded and tried.
