help!!! rusty screws..

help ahhh i got this old and beaten up guitar...
i wanna change the pickup to something better..
to my horror..
the screw are rusty to a stage tat i cant screw it out!! =[
how??
what can i do??

buy wd 40.It is a rust lubricant.Spray on it,put your philip screwdriver knock on it and turn.spray again knock again and turn.Wd 40 is available at all leading retail shop.Check on NANO RED for the nearest location or google the item and order from USA

the rusty screw head the `plus sign` is kinda damage by the rust..

Bro is your pick up on the pick guard or onthe guitar body itself. The screws you referring to is it the one on the pickup ring holder or the screws for adjusting the pick up height?

If your pick up is on the pick guard, you can remove the pick guard and then remove the screws from below using plier.

Bro,

do not use the knock method. it works but i dont think it will be advisible to do that on a guitar. the frets might pop and then u have another problem altogether. try using a pair of pliers if you can manage to get some headroom. slowly...

sadly its at not at the pickguard...
its the pickup ring holder...
the screw to adjust the pickup height okies...i can actually turn them..
but but..
the four screws at the corner..
i suppose thats the pickup ring holder ur refering to...
anyway its rectangle in shape ard my double coil pickup...
i cant remove them!!!!!
