Hi guys I got a problem,

I did a DIY blocking of the Floyd with some wood materials that I got from a woodcraft shop

The end result is good, the Floyd won't budge a single bit
However, there's more buzzing on the fretboard as compared to last time and the sound die off very fast, did something happen in between? :(

Please HELP!!!!!

(Here is a pic of the bridge in side view)

Help is really very very appreciated thanks guys

The reason is because when you locked your floyd, it isnt in the exact same position(angle) as before, resulting in a change in distance from the fretboard to the strings, this is also known as the action.

You can try raising the bridge higher to solve this however, i recommend you bringing the guitar down to a guitar shop and have it set up properly.

Easier to reshape the existing wood.
Take it out, observe the gap without the wood between the body and bridge inside the cavity (yes accurately) and then cut the wood to size. Replace and you're done. If it's done accurately there's no need to waste money in a shop who will do effectively that. Saves you traveling too.

hi, don't worry.. your floyd is not parallel to guitar body, the back is slightly sloping downwards into the trem cavity.
just raise it back up until it is parallel and see if buzzing stops.
i assume it has been setup properly before. otherwise follow nicholasim's suggestion and raise it a bit more or get it re-setup.
