Hi all Bros and Gurus here,

I've been thinking of setting up a DJ rig recently and I've come up with some solutions was wondering if it might work. If any of you has any experience in this do share.

-Was thinking of dumping a M-audio 2496 together with my old audigy plat. pro 2 in one computer. The whole idea is that at least i can still use that computer to 'play some games'. Basically multi-tasking with the computer. you think the computer can handle 2 sound cards? from what i understand, it's about changing the outputs/inputs and that's it yes?

-I'm thinking of getting a m-audio xponent + a kaoss pad 2. Any reviews on this? or perhaps any of you can suggest a cheaper alternative? :P

-also, anyone has the tenori-on? i called yamaha to attempt to bring it into singapore but to no avail. those ppl just pointed me to ebay. :( sigh it looks like one helluva a wonderful device! but pricey i'm sure.

do let me know what you guys think!

Yes, you can have 2 soundcards in one computer, like you said just have to switch over the configurations.Well I dunno much about the Torq Xponent but the kaoss pad seems to be a rather nice effect processor, Johnny Greenwood of Radiohead uses them live to process the vocal of Thom Yorke. Yeah I think Sonicbratz has one tenori-on, I saw them on youtube.

thanks for the advice bro.

at least now i know it works. :D

i checked the tenori-on and apparently it retails for 500+pounds ex vat. i'm thinking that it should be slightly below 2k sing plus shipping. oh well... guess that's gotta wait.

i played a bit with the kaoss pad 2 once. all i can say is WOW. there's too much stuff in there to be played with! absolutely amazing stuff.

no one else played with xponent before?
