so heres the thing. i'm using my talent in guitaring to gain admission into the Junior College of my choice.
i play quite well; almost everything from shredding to tapping to sweeping, so the technical aspect is taken care of. but thats precisely the problem.. the guitaring tested is classical, no electric..
i can sight read tabs relatively well, but not standard notation. i have approximately 1.5 months to get sight-reading to an acceptable level. i doubt i'll be tested on very complex pieces, but they aren't gonna be single line melodies like Mary Had a Little Lamb either..
i'm well aware of the importance of practice, but my learning and perfecting of sight-reading ability will definitely be made easier and more efficient if i had more structured guidelines on this. ie. a progressive level of difficulty.
so besides goggling it, perhaps you guys could give me more personal pointers that'll help me out.
thanks.
