i want to get a new guitar but i dont know whats good for me. i always tend to put the guitar looks rather than the specs. i want to try play metal/ metalcore and probably post hardcore. any suggestions?

yea u just get some cool design guitars with humbuckers, hear the sound u like it buy it u don't like it find another

not just the sound, the feel of the guitar is more important..
the tone u get depends alot on the amp you use, and other minor factors such as pickups, wood etc...
so basically u gotta like the feel of the guitar more than how it sounds on the spot.
