Help me choose a mic.

Have anyone use the audio tech condenser mic, AT2020.Im planning to get this one for my home studio,for vocals.But at the same time,someone will be giving me a ShureSM58 for free.So,i need yo help.Is the SM58 better than the AT2020?If not,should i get the AT2020?If it's better,than i can cancel my plans of getting the AT2020. :???:

i have both mics too bro. depends on how serious you want to record.and your vocalist too. The at2020 picks up alot of highs. Makes vocals sound more airy compared to the sm58. also the at2020 is a condenser, picks up more nuances compared to the sm58. If you have untreated room and noisy surrounding go for the 58. better noise rejection than the at2020.
