Just today,i played my guitar.I found the volume very soft even though i have been using the same settings as yesterday.Yet yesterday was so loud, today, the volume was very soft.I tried to max all my volume and gain.It is not very loud still.I can barely hear the sound.Literally the volume is very soft even though i max all the volume. Can someone tell me whether there is anything wrong with my guitar or amp.Is it just because it is raining now thats y the sound is soft or maybe i am paronoid(which i dont think so)SOmeone pls help me

i think it is not the cables.I use a new one to tried. The results are still the same so cable is rule out.I found out whats wrong already.I think it is the volume control and the tone control thingy. The one that you can turn to incrase vloume or tone. When i put the volume at 1,there is no sound.Oni at 10 then got sound. The rest is no sound except for 8 to around 9.there is sound but i can barely hear anything. The second is tone control.when i put it at 0,its the same as i put it on 10.What i mean is that the tone control is like spoilt. No matter how much u adjust, the tone remain the same.So question is what should i do?

can anyone out there tell whether i should go back to the place where i bought this guitar or where can i give it a check. Will it cost money?

Well, actually u can go to any guitar shop. It is best if u bring back to the original shop u bought from and give it a check. Well, if ur tone pots are spoilt, u can replace it. I think it cost quite cheap, but the shop might charge extra replacing it for you...

hi,
your amplifier is most likely
spoilt. It's either the potentiometer
got burnt
or the soldering is dry and needs
to be re-soldered. Next time
avoid using your amp during
thunder storm because a voltage
spike may burn your resistors.
hope that helps.

^^

Maybe the guitar vol pot or tone pot is faulty.Try to plug in your mp3 player to the amp.If it working fine,it should be ur guitar if not it ur amp.
Just my 2cent of advice.
