hi to all, been thinking of buying a new guitar, and i cant decide on which one, anyone care to give advice?
the guitars are 1. jackson dinky dk2t 2. jackson dominion d2 3. schecter hellraiser special c-1

price isnt a problem, although i would want to know which is the most worth it for price. wouldnt want to pay 600 bucks for something that isnt as worth it as another guitar. worth it in terms of tone, quality and so on. i play modern metal like lamb of god so thats the kind of metal tone i want to achieve. i know its a personal opinion, personal feel and that i should test it out but due to certain circumstances, i cant. and i have been doing lots of research, seeing reviews, youtube demos and so on, but i still cant decide for some reason.

advice anyone? like your experiences with any of the guitars? or which is more worth it?

oh btw, does the jackson dominion d2 since its a signature model means that the guitar isnt that worth it for its price though its a cheaper version?

All the guitars you listed are more than 600 i'm sure :p, but if price isn't the problem. Check out the LTD Deluxe Series? And check out the PRS Paul Allender SE model and the Nick Catanese SE is well. I'm a PRS fan :p sorreh, but i've tried them out, really good guitars for metal. They come with EMG's so no need to change them later on

In terms of value, buying first hand usually isn't that worth it since you lose almost 20% the moment you walk out of the store. I only buy a brand new guitar only if...

1) I can't find it floating anywhere on the used market
2) I can't put down that particular guitar that I'm trying
3) It's too cheap to be true.

That is why most of my guitars are 2nd hand.

If you are insistent on these selected models, I think you should try them all out. end of the day worth it or not, at least you are happy with your purchase despite the price you paid.
