Pink is difficult. You have to consider that when you dye something, you can only darken it. So your sticks will have to be very light in colour to begin with.
Also, do note that the sticks have to be raw. Most sticks in the market now are lacquered. This protective layer prevents the dye from penetrating the wood. You can try Vater Nudes from Ranking.
Either look for pink dye (I haven't seen that yet), or very sparingly apply red dye. But even so, you won't really get pink, it'll be closer to a yellow-ish pink.
It might be easier to spraypaint it with a thin layer of pink, then lacquer OVER the pink to protect it...
