erm .. theres like something wrong with my guitar .. at least i think

when i play that guitar , most of the time during solos , the pick up like cannot receive the sound or something .. nt sure how to describe but ... ok lets say i play a fast solo on my les paul , the sound is heard clearly but on the strat , like .. something blocking off the sound , still have sound but some notes cant be heard .. i duno how to say .. hopefully someone understands haha

there problem might be in the fret board i think cause the metal thing , some of them are dented in a bit , so many the strings cant vibrate .. nt too sure

:?

I'm guessing that there are dead spots? either that or the pickups are wonky. just a few assumptions since I dont really understand what you are trying to say

however, I'm curious though. how come it only happens when you play solos? how about rhythm?

cause the dents are are .. around the 15-22 frets

and i dont think its the pick up as that pickup had been in other of my guitars and they work fine ..

basically ... like .. on my les paul the notes comes out clearly smoothly but on my strat its nt really clear .. lol ok nvm

I dont understand what the problem is from ur descriptions...
i can only think of 2 things at the moment which can affect output

1. the action is too low, causing fret buzzing. or u need a re-fret job done.

2. pup wiring not connected properly

you're too fast la...the guitar cannot keep up

if you're talking about the s540...it needs a refret badly..

nah .. lol

somehow i really think its the frets ... but i scared IF IF IF im wrong .. after spending 200+ - on refretting , later still the same ... die

Nvm you bring to malcolm aka empty71 for him to diagnose first. He's a real stand up guy and won't anyhow charge you for something that does not need repairing/tweaking/etc. in the first place.
