hello friends, could anyone recommend me a standard delay pedal, not really looking out for any specs or functions in particular as im just a starter and am just finding out more about the uses of a delay pedal. my budget is about 200 bucks and please do help me here alright! digital or analog are fine, thanks!

oh yeah, maybe state the pros and cons of the item, in your opinion. thanks!

DD6 second hand from 180-200.

Digital-ish delays(obviously...)

Cons. Nothing i can think off. But ill get flamed if i say its not true bypass.

Pros? Alot of delay time. More than you need.

the ibanez de7 is a no frills option too..

check tymc's website. he can build them and paint them for a small extra cost i think. or you could just pm him on soft.

get the ibanez tonelok de7... its really good for the price...

i think it'll probably be less than $100 at this wekends sweelee sale

dont get a dd6, the de7 and byoc are much more real sounding. IMO the only nice sounding boss delay is the dd20. the dd3 and dd6 are just too digital.

never tried the digidelay personally..

im using a dd6 and ad9, they do decent lah. if youre not a delay nut. its alright, functions wise, i like the echopark. i DO recommend the dd20, tried one awhile back, quite amazing.

haha, as in, i just rather a beginner so i dont think theres a real need to look at something real sounding yet, i just want something which functions well with good functions, and serves the full delay purpose, like longest delay time or different kinds of delays haha.

i guess thats cool enough for now, but rest assured i will keep your other comments and recommendations in mind guys, and think about those other greater options when i get better, haha. for now its just discovery and practice haha. thanks!

oh yes, how much will the dd6 be roughly at the 50% sale this sat? help quick please, its just this sat! haha
