Hi fellow softies,

as mentioned above on my title, I'd like to ask if anyone of you know where to get great pedals at good price? I'm very new to this electric guitar world and my ideal starter pedals are perhaps a Distortion, Overdrive, Boost and Delay. My budget is flexible..well you know everyone likes cheap but good so 2nd hand offers to me are good enough for me...

I play Blues, Pop/Rock (maroon 5, gnr..etc), and christian musics (hillsong, planetshakers etc thus the delay pedals for worship mood)

I've tried Boss DS-1 and it seemed satisfying to me and my friend said its goin for $60 at SL? Or are there better deals? And Boss DD-6 at $160? For over drive and boost i'm not sure...

My current guitar is a Fender 62' tele and I don't know which amp to get either... a 15 to 30 watt amp is good enough for me for my home and church service as i can mic it up... Have tried a Marshall FX 15 and 30..just diff wattage but their price range is really good... 215 and 320++ respectively... so yeah drop some suggestions on which amp i should get too..

Hope you guys can help me out :)

Cheers,
Philo.

I noe after saying this i will regret. cause i also want this amp. Its the fender frontman 15r/25r.
Sound alchemy is having sale. Under $200 can get alrdy. Its good in clean. Since u getting efx then this will be good IMO.

Other then dat if u wan to save up on efx. Try looking at the Vox ranges at citymusic. Those such as ad30vt xl and stuff are good. www.citymusic.com.sg its at peace centre nxt to paradiz.
Efx wise i wld recomend the Danelctro Cool cat pedal. For $38 u can feel it being stretched to full use. No worries on tht man.
Available at davis or TYMC penisular.
ALso check out Standard value. They have a large range of pedals.
Heres smt tht is important. Blackwood's range of effects are really worth checking out. Though a lil ex, they have superb sevice and products.

The fender frontman stuff is decent for non-tube amps.

but for your budget i'd recommend the vox ac4tv.. Tube, small and cheap. there's one on the B&S too... It's 4W but it's LOUD.

For pedals, i would recommend the ibanez de7 delay. If you can, look out for a Goosonique 7theaven distortion, pricey, but worth every cent.

try standard values range of biyang and joyo pedals. they are mostly clones of more established pedals and are priced at a fraction. They are also true bypass, which means that when e pedal is off the sound quality doesnt degrade while passing through the pedal.

The new biyang babyboom series looks very cute and sounds good too hahahah

the distortion, overdrive and fuzz sounds very good and are priced at 69

Beta aivin pedals are clones of boss pedals and are priced like maybe 60ish i think, if u like boss pedals maybe u can give it a try

Standard value people are really nice too so its definitely worth a trip to

There is a woodlands branch and a branch in peninsula

Another cheap and good brand is artec. it is a korean brand but also made in china. Wide product range loks good and sounds good for the price too

U can find artec pedals at the store opposite music theme in peninsula plaza

Check out chatreeo on youtube. he reviews all kinds of pedals from boutique to china-made clones.

Although the speaks in thai, you can get an idea of how the pedal sounds

Artec are true bypass from what i know. So they're a good choice although a tad bit more expensive. Other budget brands would be Belcat. Then there's ultra budget such as TGM, Aria, Behringer. Beta Aivin, i didn't really like it. Doesn't go near Boss. Biyang's Metal End King was hot stuff, i rememberd around 5 pieces on buy/sell previously all at once. It's a decent high gain pedal. And of course, Danelectro's ultra budget FAB and quite budget CC series.

Think the Vox ac4 is pretty good choice too to start with : ), it might save u some $$ on the overdrive since it goes into overdriven tone really easily. Get the amp first see what it is lacking, then search for a boost and distortion to cover those department that the amp is lacking.
