Hi all,

Need some advice. I recently bought myself a fender strat and while trying to setup the guitar, i noticed that the allen key nuts on the saddle is much smaller than the conventional nuts. I usually use a 1.5mm allen key on most of my guitar saddles but this one is different. its much smaller. i tried going to hardware shops but still couldnt find a size for it. I did finally manage to find a complete set but it was priced at a ridiculous $25 for a complete set! anyone care to share where i can get this super small sized allen key? i think its a 0.34mm sized allen key.

Any alternatives?
anyone knows where i can get one?

Thx in advance for the advice
:D

I use the tapered hex Star screwdriver usually fouund in a handphone repair screwdriver kit. Just make sure that you loosen the strings when adjusting the screws to reduce the load on the saddles.

Went down to G77 yesterday and the boss gave me the allen key. apprently those kinda saddles are for the U.S saddles. Anyway problem solved.

thx for looking!

messing around with saddles is no child's play. I mean, you could mess up the entire guitar and it would be buzzing like crazy and dead notes might appear at some random spot.

adjust only if you know how to, thats my opinion.
