Hey, new here and new to guitar as well. I've only started playing like 2 months ago and so far my practice regime consists of warming up, some finger drills, practicing the pentatonic scale and metronome work. I'm kinda stuck on this routine and don't know where to progress from here. Any tips?

Warm up using chromatics before proceed anything.Coordination & synchronization is also important.Understand the C-A-G-E-D system for chord works & its scales.

scales haha i never really bothered about them until now , haha i pay slightly more attention to them now haha

download a metal/blues/funk tab from ultimate-guitar or 911tabs and learn them. focus on the solos as there are many techniques that you may want to pick up

most solos are a bit out of reach for a newbie i think....
speaking for myself as well hah...metal solos that is....

practice scales at a really slow tempo... like 30-40bpm slow... that would help in your accuracy... its easier to practice at faster tempos ... accuracy is the key...
