we met up for the deal and everything went fine till i realised he forgot to bring the cable. i called him up and told him. he told me to go find those cheap $5 cables at yamaha school since we were at thompson plaza. i had a hunch something was wrong here but nvm i went over to find one, i couldnt and he told me he would msg me the timing to meet the following week to pass me the cables. its been slightly over a week now and though i msg-ed him once a day for the past 3 days, he hasnt replied. look i know its only a cable and it cant be worth more than $30 for a decent one, but the thing is it was part of the deal, cables and all.

i have a feeling he would most prob change his nick or go elsewhere to sell other stuff next time so i'm putting his hp no down. its the only way of contacting him that i know off: xxxxxxxx. u guys decide whether he is trustworthy or not. i dont think he is.

edit: i'm taking the number down. maybe i was going abit overboard or what. anyway since now he's trying to get back to me, we'll see how this goes. he's still rude though.

It depends. I would'nt bother about the cable as long as the guitar is ok as he stated. Maybe he decided to keep the cable for his other use.

On another note, he also tried selling a mic way over the price when new, and probably lied about the price he bought it for.
Might want to check if there's anything wrong with your guitar.

But otherwise, it's just a cable, don't be so anal about it.

You should check your tuners, volume and tone pots, pickup selectors and your bridge.

Yeah, hate it when they just ignore you like that. You got to chase after them, msg after msg and still no reply.

hey thanks dood!! k erm the pickup switch is abit scary and it kinda goes outta tune quite easily but the others are working fine.

Guitar, hard case, 9.5 gauge PRS Strings, tremolo, strap, Fender mini tone master... looks like you got a pretty good deal, cable or no cable.

I understand that it is all about honouring what is stated in the deal, though. An explanation would at least be encouraging.

i know its a good deal, thats y i wanted to give in and just buy the cable on my own if he at least contacted me and explained things nicely. but in the end he came right back at me and pm-ed me all sorts of vulgarities, then tried to threaten me and all that crap. just makes me wanna the cable instead. i understand that putting the hp down was wrong and i took it off but he called me a cheapskate after that. i mean, cmon if u're so rich, why bother quarreling so much for a cable and just give me a date to pick it up? ok i'd better stop before i get too carried away. :mrgreen:
