How do you intend to use it? Any specific requirement? Like microphone input, built-in drum machine? Number of tracks?

HI,

I intend to use it if im away,. so I can just bring my laptop and my bass.
I need it for those late night practice and for recording into my laptop those basslines i got in my head, cos i always forgot after a while,..

any nice device to recommend?

Dpending on your budget and the software that you use, you could consider either of these:

1. Digidesign MBox Mini
2. Native Instruments' Guitar Rig Session I/O
3. Any of the basic Line 6 / M-Audio stuff
