Have u ever cockup on stage?

Humans make mistake.. For musicians, the drummer is the most obvious when mistakes are made.. For guitarist, can lower down the volume. For drummer how sia?? Just make a blur face :smt102 and carry on.

I do cock up sometimes do to the nerves. I don't really bother to do anything since the crime has already been commited, what i do, is, SMILE :D , and continue with the show

Every single time I have performed.

I picked a wrong note in a solo, stuck out my tongue and then continued... Zaoxia when singing and stuck out my tongue then continued.

The trick is NOT to stick out your tongue, because while some people might know you screwed up, there are the blur ones who don't. Then again you get carried away in your own world... Can't help but stick out tongue.

ya ya don't stick out tongue. also don't shake head from right to left, indicating you did some wrong notes, because sometimes you can get away with it! :smt083

Very true...don't apologise, don't stick out tongue...can smile and laugh about it and just carry on....no frowning or mouthing to another fellow bandmate...it's not a good presentation...

once i had a two hour set.. brought 2 strats with me to the gig.. while playing.. 2.. yes.. 2 strings snap.. have my engineer by the side.. threw the guitar to him and grabbed the other strat on the stand.. plugg in and continued the song.. just get the band to be prepared to cover any mishaps.. itll be good run..

Ask the 50 people in the crowd if they can come and do it better for you.
errrr......of course they wanna see the performers do it better than them...if not why they wanna watch??..

I was playing at a wedding reception - solo on a grand piano. My stomach was quite stuffed with food, I believe, having eaten the great buffet before started playing. First piece - The Girl from Ipanema. As usual, I don't use scores since I have quite a large repertoire. Halfway through the piece, somehow the piece went wrong. Chords went wrong. Didn't understand why since I played this piece inside out and memorised it throughly. Just improvised along the way with my own composition. Started with F major - ended in D major. Everyone was looking at me. I just shrugged my shoulders and started off with a second Joplin's piece - eveything was forgotten after a while.

ever played wrong key after not practising one particular song of a set,
the rest of the band didn't make any noize; the basisst left the after the song. it's only when I got home try re-learning the song that I realised
was playing the wrong key ???!!!

yes

mm.. in secondary school, i really suck to the core in singing. but with my mighty guts and shameless self, heh! i quite enjoyed it. aiyah.. all those teachers' day performance and talentime. haha! it's pretty ok to get dissed. everyday i had to face those people in school. hey i was just a kid yah. pretty shameless.

but somehow, my singing seemed to get a little better with some help of everyday singing to my bestfriends' pager voicemails. that was before the handphone era. lol.

maybe it's my fat ego. heh! but i really thought i made a big impact in sec 3. heheheheh! i sang solooooo! muahahahhaha! and i was enjoying myself. got nice-to-hear comments from my schoolmates! mmmph!

cocking up is part and parcel of performing. if any performer says that he/she nvr cock-up before, got 95% chance that person is lying. and for people dissing, its human nature. when some guy on stage makes mistakes, there will always be at least 1 asshole in the audience who will laugh, shout, insult or whatever. so, yeah, got to live with it.

Of course, but they have to remember everyone is human...man bands like Metallica mess up on every song...just keep playing, smile, and enjoy the music

true...i know metallica still cocks up on stage time to time....small mishaps usually might go unnoticed unless of course u go the whole song playing out of sync....but performers who ask their audience whether they can do better really have to think again bout their attitude man....

That day when I was playing bass at a pub I accidentally pressed my tuner's flat button before I started tuning; I couldn't see the screen only the tuning lights. I was happilly wondering why my whole guitar was sharp, then I was telling myself maybe it was the aircon. Just when the set started then I realised I detuned my bass to Eb. Well done. Luckilly the first song could be played without any open strings so I just played everything 1 fret up. Immediately retuned after the song. Haha..
