hey i heard they are having christmas sale, they are selling those dvds to teach drums, Are those dvds really helpful in building up drum skills.

Wat's your review on those products? Are they worth the money? And especially the moeller system they are selling, did those moeller dvds really help you increase your handpower and speed?

You can give it a try but,

I think i should recommend you to buy a v-drum as it is able to check ur speed, strength and timing. The roland td-4 should be good enough for you train on speed while you can watch the videos free on that free drum lessons website.

WOW v-drum, now i know more about it, i remember seeing it at swee lee but nvr really give a damn. So it has got these functions. It cost a few Ks right.

Hi Dark,

Those dvds are fm a guy by the name of Jared Falk. I have managed to watch some of the free videos which was abt a year ago. Ok, to me it's still not bad for beginners.

I would like to recommend you "TDSS" which is called Total Drumming Success System fm a guy by the name of Jack Bennett. Go check it out!

after taking serious lesson from this bass drum secrets books and dvd, i find that it doesn't help much, only teach me how to do doubles on bass drum, using heel toe method.

The sliding feet method is only shown on book, but not precise, dvd nvr mention this method. Lack of info.

I feel that it is a waste of money. So softies, i don't recommend you to buy from Freedrumlesson.com

Sorry, I stumbled onto this thread late. I have a couple of friends who bought into them and regretted it since. Real basic stuff and no tips and techniques taught.

Basically, the entire video was the guy playing all the basic exercises in the book with all different speeds - taking up space and wasting money.

My review is that I agree with Dark Heart - dont buy it.

let me reveal what is in the bass drum secrets

First, they waste paper by telling me that "oh, you have to clamp your bass drum pedal to your bass drum, if don't clamp tightly ho, your bass drum pedal will go loose and it is bad for your drum playing."

I guess amateurs have that kind of common sense also, who don't clamp their pedals?

Second, they waste another few pieces of paper to tell me, hey you have to align your pedal beater properly at the center of the bass drum.

many many more... don't care liao:rolleyes:
