I dont noe how a haivanna feels, but i got two pairs of sandals called 'Brazillian Praias' and both of them failed on me half way walking on the streets. the strap detached itself from the piece which is between ur feet n the floor (is that the sole?) and when i thought I gave it another chance and bought another one, same thing happened.
My thailand sandals were for $6 and it lasted since 1998 i used to wear it often.
I dont wear the parias for sports nor did anyone step on my foot. it just happened.
Other than that, the show is really airy and the straps dont hurt ur feet.
and it does feel good. and slightly overpriced i think

there's this $10 pair from far east which looks kinda similar. cant remember the shop name. it's quite a gay shop... like not trendy or well decorated. i think it's the 2nd floor... materials are similar unless ure some rubber expert mayb...
project shop slippers also quite nice in my opinion. not ex.

I got this pair of flip-flops from Kenji Urban in melbourne while I was there in december. I daresay they beat the Havainas hands down in comfort, and after conversion they were like, what, 10 bucks cheaper too?
