Hatebreed have headlined Ozzfest, Mayhem Festival, With Full Force Festival...just to name a few!!!
Go check out their live shows and you'll know what I mean.
And no, there is no gst on the ticket price. I've no idea where you got that from.

This is a full on concert, not a 200 pax gig! Our capacity is way more than that!

Band is small or big is up to different people's perception. Maybe to Psychosphere, Hatebreed is smaller compared to letz say Iron Maiden but we let the guy speak for himself. Don't forget Terror, equally big in my eyes, also played here last year and their tickets didn't cost tat much.
Me? I'm juz asking for clarification on number of tickets available+cost. Not all of us can afford a $65 ticket so easily. Have you tot of that?
Dun turn people off by getting so arrogant juz becoz u mange to snag a big ass band. Good luck to filling up that equally huge big ass stadium of yours.

I am not sure if you have any idea how tough it is to even a smaller scale gig with local/regional bands - let alone an overseas band from USA. The sheer logistic matters alone of it all can be monsterous.
I say thumbs up to the organizers 28K productions and no comments about nay-sayers.

The only explaination is the Singapore Metal fans are a unique bunch. They won't go to any metal show simply for the "love of metal" or "passion for the scene". Most of the fans are "selective".
If you have a big venue with small crowd, it'll just make the band and organizer look really bad. (I mean really really bad). For pete's sake, these bands pack stadiums outside of Singapore!
65 dollars for an international band it I think it's reasonable. To each it's own, if it's not worthy to pay for some - they are entitled to their own opinion.

Lets be reasonable here, It is entirely up to the Event Organiser to decides on (How Much he wanna market the Tickets for) - - as they knows what’s most reasonable for them to (1) at least be able to break even and not make a loss in organizing whatever Event (taking account into RISKS / CONTIGENCIES & THE TIME & AMOUNT OF WORK TO BE PUT IN) – in order to bring hatebreed here (in this case).
Naturally some people will find that ( $65 is expensive) – It is not Wrong, BUT to many others – what is $65 – to have the Opportunity to see hatebreed perform LIVE right here at our doorstep…
Not forgetting - $65 x 200 Tickets (assuming it is all sold within September) amounts to only S$13,000 in total.
I do not know – of the Venue is FREE ( But that is not our concern, not our business here) .
How much do you think hatebreed ( as a Band will command from the Organiser here) - - Hey we are talking about Singapore Dollars here and there is 5 of them….
Seriously – Lets do our little Maths ( though again I say – that’s non of our concern) – We want to watch them play and is willing to pay for the Price - - We Buy the tickets , if not It is OK also.
What is important here is - - if we wanna support this Very Event ( Good ) if not - - don’t complain about tickets being expensive or it’s only a small band or whatever negative..

No one is arguing or denying that it is EXPENSIVE to bring in that Big Ass Band to play in that Big Ass Stadium.
What both of u are saying now is that juz because it costs a lot of Big Ass Dollars (BAD$) to bring that Big Ass Band that gives Mr Big Ass Organizer (BAO) the right to b***h slap everyone? Both of yah are missin the forest for the trees.
Did I say tickets are "expensive"? If I did I'm sorry. I was clarifying the ticket prices but Mr BAO started to b***h slap me. So now I dun tink I wan to give Mr BAO my hard earned BAD$. But I'm sure Mr BAO is selling a lot of tixs now so won't really miss my $65... oh wait thats $67 with the booking fee right?
