Anyone a fan of him? I love the Shadows songs and the more I listen to them, the more I wanna make use of the trem bar in my Strat hahaha..: P

He is the lead guitarist backing Cliff Richard and 1 of the first to use a Fender stratocaster in London in the early 60s which inspired lots of later english teens to take up playing the electric guitar. I guess only the older folks knows about him and lots of old great Singapore 60s band followed the The Shadaow brand of music

Aha yea..not many younger folks know him but he was an influence on Tony Iommi, who described the Shadows` music as dark n heavy..Iommi even played on the Shadows tribute album..: P

hehe i'm 17 and i know him
the shadow's produced some great instrumentals, like foot tapper, and my favourite, man of mystery.
i didnt like their cheesy dance steps while they are performing though!! :lol: :lol:
