after comparing the prices with other sources, you decide whether its worth it to buy that guitar.

in my opinion, guitars at cash converters are hardly considered 'cheap'. but there are some rare cases where a deluxe fender stratocaster can be priced at $400. damn, I was an hour too late :lol:

The people at cash converters doesnt seem to know real value of guitars. Ive seen some good guitars which are underpriced while lousy guitars are overpriced.

i once saw a real beat up Fender bass down there going for $100+ when i hadn't picked up bass yet. DAM! maybe it could be the one that RentaBass got?

Well, if you put in a lil' bit of TLC to it, they'll still be worth quite a lot more than what you paid in total.

I only try the basses when there are amps there. Even if there are guitar amps, it's better than nothing, but if you're going to try through guitar amps, better make sure you know what sound you want!

Not necessarily. Just don't boost the bass frequencies in a bid to make it sound like a bass amp. It's not like you're going to test a bass at gig volumes either, right?

And not like the pple there will bother. at the way they're pricing their music equipment, i say they know nuts about this. you could even convince them to try out the bass on their second hand karaoke systems.. heh
