i haven't been in touch with Hamer basses and guitars for a long time, i used to own a Hamer Cruise Bass .. man .. they are seriously good ... basically hamers are nice lah ..

basswood is a common kind of wood found in lower range guitars ... there was this period of time where Fender used basswood to build their P-bass . can't remmeber when ..

anyway .. basswood creates this kind of crunchy sound that is really suitable for rock and those heavier kind of music ..

tts wad i noticed.there is a certain growl when i plug it into the amp.rilli like it man..i bought tt bass quite sum tym back.only tt its neck heavy lar.nth can be done abt tt rite?

you can try changing your tuners to hipshot ultralites .. that may help .. or if you want can attach a small lead block in your electronics cavity to even out the balance ..

ouh man...my bass is kinda heavy enuff..maebe..i might juz change the tuners first..but will tt make any diff?

yeah .. headstock lighter means you can balance your bass better if your bass is those neck-heavy kinds .. but i guarantee you won't be cheap changing tuners .. and singapore . hard to find hipshot ultralites that will fit your bass .. have to import ..

if your bass is those kind of beginner's bass then i'd suggest you skip the idea first .. when you really want .. save the money and get a better built bass that you are satisfied with ..and if necessary then change the tuners if you want ..
