H/S/H strats..

hey wud like u guys' recommndations on stras with H/S/H pickup configuration..

whether it's modded or came originally like tt..

I have tonezone in the bridge, blue velvet in the S, and .....something in my neck for lead. shred cow can help me out on which one i have. i get a fantastic range of tones and soudns outta that config. sorry about the typing ive had a few, but in all seriosuness, that pup config is great.
they are all by smeour dunacn!no...dimarzio. I think. Sorry man...but look up those pup names...good stuff! the blue velvet for clean 0

bin4christ, I've been thru a ton of dimarzios and nothing rocks harder than www.has-sound.com . I now use a Helix/Viper, and usually the middle coil, well, I dont; have one. Someone is going to order a HAS-Sound Helix & Viper set today though, and that person will be a very happy and satisfied guitarist.

anyway i'm using a modded JEM JR, with a tonezone in the bridge and breed neck in the neck. the mid single coil is stock, since i dont use it much.

and i shall say it's sufficient for me for now, and the reason why i dont want to demo those BK or HAS pups, because i dont want to get influenced and have the GAS. i'm terribly broke, no money as a student.

and i'm happy with the tones i get from the tonezone and breed. too much hotter may not be my liking.

I formally invite you to come and try my Saber with HAS Sound pups. Or my Yamaha RGXTT, with a Viper humbucker.

Bluepowder has swapped out his Evo bridge on his RG1550 for a Viper too.

You should check with him abt the tone change...

Especially now that HAS pups are going for a mere 80USD per humbucker!

My rg has 81/85's took out the mid single coil cause dont really use it.
Maybe a viper next year on my next guitar.
