guys help me with my tele!!

hi guys,i just bought a black fat tele from a nice softie the guitar is in good condition but there is one problem when i play it with the clean sound its kind of hollow sounding as if there is no punch i thought its because of my amp setting so i tried to increase the bass on the amp but the problem still is unsolved .The guitar when played with the distortion sounds great just when playing clean that this problem will arise is it because of the pickup using both the neck and bridge pickup will have this problem guys please help me i really like the feel of this guitar just hope that the problem can be solved and please provide opinions on what i should do because i never encounter this problem before........thanks

hollow when only using bridge+neck pickup? Other then hollow, did the volume level and bass level of the pickupconfig dropped a lot compared to "only when the bridge/neck pickup is on"?

The above is a characteristic of the pickup wired out of phase in reference to the other.

Anyway, the only way to find out what actually happen, is to open up the wiring and check. If not too sure what goes on inside, send it to geetar tech to do it for you.

Oher then checking the internal wiring and connection, theres no other way round it, to find out the problem
