I'm looking for a guitarist to accompany a male singer on an acoustic set. The set will consist of acoustic versions of soul classics from singers such as Al Green, Bill Withers and Sam Cooke; as well as uptempo modern soul stuff from the likes of Jay Kay and Paolo Nutini.
Looking for a guitarist with good rhythm, feel and confidence. It will be an extra plus if you can back up on vocals and your harmonies complement the tone of the lead singer.
This guitarist will be needed for 4 paid gigs in August at a bar/restaurant which unfortunately, I am not allowed to name on a public site at this stage. These 4 gigs will be the trial gigs for the venue to decide if they would like to have something more permanent beyond August.
