any way to boost the guitar's volume??
i wiredit up according to SD'S schematics and now the pickup on a clean is very soft...but when put to overdrive its loud as normal..how do i boost the sound?

What pickup is it? If you hit the overdrive and it sounds louder, maybe its because your settings on the overdrive channel? Basically if you're looking to boost the sound, there's a limit to what passive electronics can do. You can install something like an EMG afterburner for more gain, but more likely I think your situation is a wiring problem. An experienced tech would be able to help you out for sure.

u might have reversed the wirings/other pickups were reverse wired. i had that b4 with a richie sambora strat, where my dimarzio fast track 2 was wired opposite with my PAF pro.
