i use to favour some brand names but these days, it's what feels good & sounds appealing.

for practice.. i just use Good strings (yes, its a brand). My strings rust too fast to fully utilized the potential of really good ones. But strings that i tried and lasted almost forever... Elixir.(Those are really ex..)

preferably i'd use ernie ball super slinkies if i need to play in a gig
however for practice i always use (majority of the time) d'addarios.
i only use gauge 10-46s. provides the balance of nice tone plus ease of bending.
