guitar string change help

Hi,

any one staying at Yishun able to help me with my guitar strings?

im not really sure how to adjust the correct tension and at the correct pitch have already snapped one string previously....need to know the correct method to do so.

yes i am using a tuner, tried tuning the 6th e string until an A and its too tight, cant go any further

loosen the springs for the tremolo? tension in string = tension in spring afaik

i may be wrong but i think your re-stringing method is wrong.
did you allow excess length of the strings for winding into the machine heads?
