If there were to ever be a reason that you have to hang your axe, what would the reason possibly be?

"Coz my girlfriend doesn't allow me to play the guitar anymore. She threatened to leave me if i do."

Wow.. I'd leave my gf the moment that happens..
Relationships are about understanding one another, and giving space as well..
Unless of course, the guy messed up his priorities to a large extent..
People have to realise relationships are about making sacrifices as well.. :mrgreen::mrgreen:

I'll stop if by some chance of bad luck, I lose all my fingers. To be honest, with all this bad luck I've been having lately, I'm kinda preparing myself for this to happen.

But actually, guitar's such a big part of me, if I had to give it up, I'd actually lose my will to live haha.

I did before and it was because I had to work. The money from gigs wasn't enough, so I stopped playing and focused my time in officework and family.

Didn't touch a guitar until 10 years after. I'm still not doing gigs yet, but playing my guitars everyday.

Probably if i have to sell my guitars to fund for something else very important.

was in similar situation with bro Jon..did not played at the turn of Y2k..medical condition similar to stroke..started playing again about since 06..a good 3 years of not playing

but serioulsy i once went through that,
then again now, we've talk things over and it worked out fun.

actually she felt bad seeing how all my friends are havign fun playing guitar with smiles on their face while i just sit there and watch, i even sold my guitar and effects pedal when she first asked me to quit.
