Guitar repair

Is it possible for me to replace the front & back body of my guitar, could I buy them or would I have to make them, my project for the last month was sanding it down to bare wood and cutting out for my mop inlays, only for some moron to smash the front & back, the reason I still want to keep it is its a nylon guitar with a thin neck and its was a good one. thanx

You got the broken wood? It could be glued together, but the repair cost could outlay the original cost of the guitar. I'm guessing it was a classical based on your description.

I'm really thinking the cost for putting it back together would cost more then getting a new and decent classical. Would the luthier also be wondering where did the inlay go? I'm guessing you took out the rosette around the sound hole. If you still have all the wood and it can be fit like a jigsaw back it could be glues and clamped back together. If still got holes in it after treatment could be like Willie's Trigger ---> http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6980590 which is all cool~

Guitar Hospital at Paradiz B1, Maestro or Zen Guitarworks at Excelsior B1 or Esplanade, Luthermusic L2 Excelsior are your hope.

If not, Yamaha music or Davis Guitars for a new classical.

im afraid u have to buy a new one.... if u want to maintain the neck & make a new body... the neck wood (especially. in join neck and body section) will not in a proper condition like before... coz its glued on the body
and its expensive if u do it

i think u should have to buy a new one :)

Thanx

Thanx for the replies, looks like itll have to be a new one, shame about that i spent ages sanding it down..
