Guitar Neck Qns

Hey bros, im considering changing my guitar neck on my strat copy but I was wondering whether there were specific things I needed to look for or made sure of, like do I have the measure the width of my neck? or wthr only another strat neck can go on my guitar? or like well generally anything else I should know.

Make sure it's the correct neck pocket size.
