Lesson Types

1) Fundamental Course
- Tailored for absolute beginners & budding guitarists who wish to build a solid foundation on their fundamentals before tackling songs on an intermediate level.

- Lessons are based on my self-written guitar book – Raynor’s Guitar Methodologies for Absolute Beginners.
Lesson Breakdown are as below:
Lesson 1: Preparatory (0.5HRS)
Lesson 2: Open String, Basic Theory & Scales (1HR – 3HR)
Lesson 3: Chords & Rhythm Playing (1HR -2HR)
Lesson 4: Plucking (16HRS)
Lesson 5: Strumming (13HRS)
Lesson 6: Transposition & Keys (3HRS)
Lesson 7: Catching Keys & Chords of Songs (3HRS)

- Estimated Duration: 37HRS ~ 40HRS

- Prerequisite: Students must be absolute beginner or near beginner level.

2) Song Based Lessons
- For Students who wish to learn specific songs.

- Estimated Duration: NA

- Prerequisite: Students must have either completed my Fundamental Course OR assessed by myself to qualify.


Rates

1) Individual 1-to-1
Rates: $30/HR/pax
Launch Promotion:
- Book 4HRS in Advance at $100/pax (Rates: $25/HR/pax. You save $20/pax.
- Book 10HRS in Advance at $230/pax (Rates: $23/HR/pax. You save $70/pax.)

2) Pair 2-to-1
Rates: $25/HR/pax
Launch Promotion:
- Book 4HRS in Advance at $80/pax (Rates: $20/HR/pax. You save $20/pax.)
- Book 10HRS in Advance at $180/pax (Rates: $18/HR. You save $70/pax.)


Lesson Schedules

- Students are highly recommended to book a fixed day and time of each week for Lessons.


Lesson Location

Lessons are conducted at my home near Khatib MRT Station at Yishun.

Lesson Environment

Lessons are conducted in a comfortable and cosy room with air-conditioning. Music Stands, Guitar Stands and Chairs will be provided. Lesson Materials are flashed on a 37Inch Samsung LCD TV.


My Background

My main influence is Chinese (and some English) pop strum and sing.
