Hello

I hav a problem wif my guitar lately(bought a mth ago). A Yamaha 612V. The fret buzzes terribly on the 7th fret 1st string. Tried adjusting the action and also the truss rod but it does nt go away unless the action was waay too high.
I think it might need some fret levelling.

Any good luhers out there? I had one guitar done at Guitar Workshop but the workmanship is not soo good and very expensive.
Is Sinamex good? I dun mind paying more as along as the repir is professionally done.

Any recomendation?

contact me at jay_clones@yahoo.com or 98005854.

Thanx

Guitar Workshop? Is it the one located at Ming's Arcade? Near Hard Rock cafe? I thought the guy repairing guitars there (think his name was Calvin) opened a new store at the Basement of Excelsor Hotel... Guitar Connection, doing repair services etc.

Anyone knows?

they split up... was two guys before that.

guitar connection - the guys there look pretty friendly... and they do have the tools for setting up guitars :) Just peek into the inside... u'll see Steward-MacDonald stuff.

While u're there.. do try out some guitars too. :)

hmmm send to yamaha itself lor.. if u just purchase from them unless it is a second hand.. 7 fret? thats bad.. if i'm not wrong.. buzzing that happen at the lower end of fret is very hard to adjust then those on the higher frets..
