Hi, I would like to ask, do BOSS pedals run on batteries? Because my circuits are already overloading and I cannot fit another DC power into the power point else there may be a blackout!! But I would really like to fiddle with pedals so please tell me! thanks.

Definitely.....a single 9V batt!!!

majority of effects pedals run on battery unless they require more power to come alive eg: tube-equipped units.

there are some digital-based pedals which function more optimally on adapter eg: digital delay units. you can still have batteries in there but at 2hrs per battery, it's not worth it...
