Guitar bags that provide more protection

I'm currently using a Warwick Rock bag, the one with the more canvas like material but it's starting to tear at some places. Was eyeing the mono bags at the City Music sale but right now it's out of my budget.

Can you recommend me a bag that provides the guitar more protection than the Warwick Rock Bag?
Under $100

seriously - there aren't any
would think hard about getting a mono. buy once, use for a long long time
buy cheap, change many times

consider CNB bags @ Davis as well.

Get a case, i think i saw one at music theme for 95. And if that's not enough go get 13-inch metal plates.

Mono is the way to go.
Personally using Red Dot Music stuff but ask Cherns if he is still in the bag-making business. (don't worry he is local)

There's also the Incase stuff but that is WAYYYYY beyond your budget mate.

+1 for mono. Worth every cent, and then a little bit more. Not just great protection, comfortable too. Eat 8 less McDonald's meal, there's the $60 that's beyond your budget :p

Fusion bags at TYMC are about $90 I think and that was before Christmas sale. Also great protection, and very streamlined. If there's one gripe about the monos, it's that they're chunky. Good luck taking peak hour public transport with them. But slim = very little compartment/pocket space.

the slimmest bag with the smallest profile and most protection is the gator delux bags at yamahas, it's almost skin tight but very well padded, at a reasonable price of about $50

hey there! Don't know if you've got ur gig bag yet..

Consider checking out Crossrock gig bags at Ranking. They go for under a hundred. And they're quite heavy duty, slim, and their strap style reduces the guitar weight a wee bit. Give it a go! you won't regret it!
