Guess the album cover

[/sidetrack]

Can anyone explain the stories behind these cover art? I've seen a lot of (death/black/thrash/speed? I hate genres) metal covers and they're either drawings of

skeletons
dying people
dead people
blood
virgins
castles
Death
horses

Explanation? Are those only for themed albums? Or just a characteristic of the band?

PS Your graphics are excellent! I've always been inspired but don't know where to start. I have Illustrator but I'm an idiot.. heh..

... Frank Bello was his usual "all over the stage" mode. Charlie Benante was flawless...

What's up with Frank Bello leaving Anthrax previously? I remember reading somewhere that it was becuz of some arguements he had with his Uncle Charlie isn't it?

If you have the "Weapon of Mass Desctruction" DVD, there's a snippet of the band taking pictures outside some staircase... It seems the band were somehow annoyed at Frankie when he asked Rob Caggiano to take off his leather jacket during the shoot.

hahahahhha... they were great then. i actually prefered the "Under The Influence" album. i remembered my elder brother was being stopped by the police coz he was wearing the "Fuck U" Overkill tee with the middle finger pic. that was like in the late 80's! hahahahahhaha... now, no one cares actually!

ok, con't with the program...
