Group or individual lessons better??

I am thinking of taking up the yamaha lead guitar course. It seems quite fun, i joined their classical guitar lessons and it was quite fun. But i am wondering if taking up individual lessons with one teacher is better. Those who go to your house or you go to their house ones. Please advice me.
And i have been playing guitar for 2 years already but havent been improving much in terms of theory. But hammer-ons, bends, slide all these i know. So if i join the group class, later they teach me all those then i will have to waste 6 months going through prep lessons. Perhaps they could put me in a later class, thats possible right?

Individual is always the best, but make sure you get a guitar teacher who really comes down on your bad habits. I had my bandmate for that...

But i feel a little intimidated when alone with a teacher. And sometimes if i dont perform up to par, i feel very paiseh. And i like being in a group, can get to know other guitarists as well.
But will i learn faster in a group or alone??

Learn in group may be cheaper but progress slower. You might always have to wait for others who are slower. And like what you say, the lesson is not so flexible. The good thing is u will get to know more friends and motivate each other. Since you already reached the intermediat stage, my advice is to take up individual lessons.

individual lesson sir is the answer ,learning in group is fun but you tend to slack and not focus at the task at hand .Individual lesson however will make you be very focused as there is no one to talk to other than the teacher.If you are learning individually the teachers attention would only be on you and he will be very alert to spot the mistake that you are doing .In my point of view if you are serious about playing guitar than taking up individual lesson would be the best choice and you would see significant improvement in your playing
