Good service.

There's been a lot of posts about bad service. How about we recommend places / staff for good service?

I called Swee Lee's sims dr outlet (68463610) (*gasp* I am going to hell for this) for some inquiries. The 'uncle' on the phone didn't understand what I was saying, but he put me through to one Mr. Jai, who walked me through everything I wanted to know, patiently, explaining everything, and the guy may never see me in his store. Now that's service.

I'd called AllMusic (63348869) but they were closed. The call was diverted to the owner (Lily). In 2 minutes she called back, three times since I was on another call, till she got me. I had a lot of inquiries, and she answered patiently. She said she would get Lawrence from the shop to call me back with more information, and they did. All this - without any guarantee that I'll buy anything at all from their store.

Now that's service. Even if they charge a little more, I'd rather pay a little more and patronise such shops.

Hmm .. cool ... maybe what most retailers lack is "Consistancy" in serving customers ?

fantastic thread.

anyway, i went 2 sweelee once looking 4 pedals, i actually had this particular pedal in mind. when i went over 2 e pedal counter, straight away i had a malay guy at e cashier counter politely asked me if i needed assistance, n came right straight to e counter b4 i even could respond. haha... super gd service. he dropped wat he was doing at e cashier counter n attended 2 a customer. he even shared his own personal experiences wif e pedal n gave sincere opinions.

in e end, i didnt purchase anything dat day, but there was no unhappiness coming frm him, but was still polite n giving an award-winning smile. i went back a few wks later 2 purchase dat pedal.

well juz on last Thur i went 2 Swee Lee Sims DR. As i was lookin thru their Ibanez a Mly dude wif long haird approached me. He was very helpful and frenly. Asisted me in all ways possible. I decided 2 get an S470 dat day, after tryin a few S and SA series for a long time. Anyway i find Swee Lee at Sims Dr more quiet as not many pple r ard. And the mly dude made it a more pleasant experience for me.
