$3.9K for a signature Ibanez, vs. $4K (around there I suppose) for a standard production Gibson LP standard... Gibsons are still a whole lot more expensive.

I really doubt LP Standards are 4k, they go for about 2.3-3k if i'm not wrong

Ibanez SZ320 !!! Marty's Ibanez was based on this model.
I used to own one till I got my 95' Gibson LP Studio. Great sustain and comfortable neck

im using a 7620 now, kickass guitar.
but i really recommend the japanese one, get a rg570 or sth, can get it for around 500 plus used, best guitar in its range

Huh? SL stocks sa260fm what. They had the black and amber in stock one or two weeks ago, tried it out for fun.

I think there was 40% off so the price is about 500-600? That is an ok price. Don't pay more than 600 for it, it's totally not worth it.

at least do your decent bit of research like what tone does a certain wood give. they have mahogany, basswood and alder guitars. all of them would sound different. for neck, you have to feel whether you are comfortable with the profile before buying. some people like thin some people like fat some people like 7.25" radius while others prefer 9.5"?

you should try what the people here have recommended cos they have already helped you thinned down the choices you have to make initially. now its up to you to make your decision finialised.

I would recommend 2nd hand guitars any day. significantly cheaper as opposed to buying a brand new one. personal preference though.
