for my 1st song, i learnt Master Of Puppets-Metallica. minus the last solos. my fren was the one that forced me to learn..haha and i thank him!!

haha at that time i was a super noob, so i dint noe which was hard which was easy. so i just learn the song as i really wanted to pick up guitar.so yea, actually i learnt the bridge part of the song 1st. the part where hammett plays the clean part. its easy actually.now im into FFAF songs..all the fast runs.haha..

just remember to practise till u can play it correctly. Dun be like those noobs that go guitar shop and butcher the song. Ive heard some horrible MOPs man, nvr palm mute 1 lol.

you can try playing rhythm for almost anything that sounds easy ... as straightforward as that... for leads u can try RHCP stuff and the like

you forgot FADE TO BLACK. when i was buying my guitar every shop i went to, there is bound to be someone playing that song. MoP on the other hand i din hear anyone playing it.
